Bisos (Dreams) is located in the main square of Paulilatino (su Panguglieri), in a refined building dating back to the early 19th century. For 150 years it has belonged to the Urgu family, originally a family of merchants from Bosa.
In the center of the small town of Paulilatino, where north and south Sardinia meet in the hills on the slopes of the Montiferru massif, there is a place full of stories told around fireplaces, scents of cakes, voices of children playing, full of gifts from various people who have passed through this place and have wanted to pay homage to the cheerful memory of the sound of the bells on horses during feast days, in the shadow of the big lime tree.
This is Bisos. The ancient home of the Urgu family is located in the very center of the town - Su Panguglieri square - where it was built two centuries ago, stone upon stone. Today it is has been revived in order to welcome new stories, new fragrances, new voices and to create new memories. This is thanks to the bio-architect and current owner, Francesco, who knows every corner of this house and sees the history of the family within it.
It is for this reason he decided to renovate, using ‘green’ building techniques to make it a unique accommodation facility: healthy, sustainable, rich in history and capable of completely immerging visitors in local life so that they really feel that they themselves are a local. The six rooms, all overlooking the streets of the center, each have their own specific features and reflect the different atmospheres of the house and its history: the vaults, the frescoed ceilings, the precious floors, the scents of the wood, the colors of the wools and the natural fabrics used in the furnishings. Our rigorous attention to detail will guarantee you have an interesting and pleasant stay.
